After the runaway success of Dune, Denis Villeneuve has his choose of tasks he can tackle. Whereas viewers watch for extra information on Dune: Half 2, Villeneuve has already discovered an addition undertaking, one which can see him staying within the lane of sci-fi epics.


The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Dune director will helm a big-screen adaptation of the Arthur C. Clarke basic Rendezvous with Rama. This can mark the filmmaker’s second sci-fi novel-to-screen interpretation after directing the well-received Frank Herbert adaptation. Alcon Leisure’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove will produce and finance the movie. Whereas saying the movie, Johnson and Kosove couldn’t disguise their pleasure as they praised Denis Villeneuve’s love for the style, saying:

It’s completely fitted to our good friend and collaborator Denis’ good sensibilities and particularly to his love and fervour for science fiction.
