Professional health experts have warned us that scientists might not be able to develop a vaccine (coronavirus cure) against the coronavirus flu (Covid-19), in the upcoming months/years and pointed that this has happened before, HIV and dengue are among others which still dont have any vaccine ready, reports has said.
Right now there are more than 100s of vaccines (Cure) are currently under pre-clinical trials and just a few of vaccines have entered the human trial stage to test— in England at Oxford University has made up of a chimpanzee virus and in the U.S.A a special vaccine has produced by Moderna company.
In a statement told “There are some viruses that we still don’t have vaccines against to fight,” Dr David Nabarro, an expert professor of worldwide health at Imperial College London, has told to CNN on Sunday.
“We can’t make an absolute assumption that a vaccine (coronavirus cure) will appear in the least, or if it does appear, whether it’ll pass all the tests of efficacy and safety,” Nabarro, who also is a special diplomat to the World Health Organization (WHO) on Covid-19 case, said.
World-famous physician and immunologist in National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci is among those, who says a vaccine will come along in a year to 18 months, while many others have said it’s going to take longer than that.
Most experts are certain that a coronavirus(Covid-19) vaccine(Cure) will finally be developed because unlike former diseases like H.I.V and malaria, the coronavirus doesn’t mutate rapidly right now.
David Nabarro view, however, acknowledged the method of developing a vaccine is slow and painful for all of us in upcoming months. You have high hopes, then your hopes are destroyed. We’re handling biological systems, we’re not managing mechanical systems. It really depends on such a lot on how the substance reacts,” Nabarro said.
“We’ve never accelerated a vaccine during a year to 18 months. It doesn’t mean it’s impossible, but it’ll be quite a heroic achievement. we’d like plan A, and an idea B,” Dr Peter Hotez, working in National School of medicine at Baylor College of Drugs in Houston, told CNN reporters.
A vaccine applicant for coronavirus(Covid-19) has been recognised by scientists at the Oxford Vaccine Group and Oxford’s Jenner Institute. The possible upcoming vaccine named as, ChAdOx1 nCoV-19, is stated on an adenovirus vaccine vector and therefore the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.
According to W.H.O reports, from a complete of 102 candidate vaccines in the trials, eight leading vaccines(Cure) are within the human testing phase right now.
A number of treatments are being tested for Covid-19 and scientists are already watching experimental anti-Ebola drug remdesivir and blood plasma treatments are also being investigated. Experts have said hydroxychloroquine tablets, stated as a possible “game-changer” by U.S.A President Donald Trump, has been found that this miracle drug is not effective on sick.
Till then, David Nabarro said, preparing ourselves for upcoming months are going to be an option until a vaccine (coronavirus cure) against coronavirus(Covid-19) is developed.
“It’s absolutely necessary that each one society everywhere around the earth get themselves into a point where they’re ready to defend against the coronavirus as it is continuing to be a threat and to be ready to set about social life and economic activity with the virus in our midst,” Nabarro said while chatting with CNN.
