Flick Solitaire has collaborated with a brand new artist to coincide with Black History Month, releasing a brand new deck for the favored game on iOS and Android.


The latest deck to affix the game is named My Hair Is My Crown, created by St. Louis-based artist Sam Modder. This hand-drawn deck is dripping in contrasting and complementary gold and purple, symbolising shared Black experiences, delight and self-love.

Modder is a visible artist and engineer born in Nigeria, and moved to the United States to review her Masters in Fine Art at Washington University in St. Louis. I had most enjoyable creating the Aces, that are totally different combs used particularly on pure hair. I really like the robust shapes these combs have and the way they’ve come to be highly effective symbols of self-love and Black empowerment.”
